I'm gonna be more especific... This area here doesn't make any sense to keep... Unless the branch doesn't make part of the final design/vision, and at this point you might have a vision for what you want it to look like, this cluster doesn't give more options, it gives you more trouble to resolve later. It's called wagon wheel here.

Also, like I said before, I'm not sure about the timing...
So I'm telling it doesn't make sense to keep a cluster like that, BUT I'M NOT telling you should remove as fast as possible.

That cluster is from last years growth and cannot be handled with decandeling. That needs to be taken care of in late winter to early spring. Do not ask me wich one. 2024, 2025 or 2026? It all depends on your goal with the tree development phase and speed as well as the overall health in spring.

Ahh, ok got it. I still think that 6 branches like in this cluster gives more options. In the end there should be no more than two. That is like 15 options?
