I was wondering if this new hinoki cypress looks good. I just wired it.

The wiering is really ugly. But I guess, practising is the only way to improve.

Silouette looks good.

Trunk is way too tall and thin. This tree will need decades to grow into proportion.

Try taking a look at some YouTube videos on wiring, that would probably help. Right now it looks like your wire probably isn’t helping as much as it could.?名媛直播 Mirai has some good videos that get really in depth. And there’s some others out there too.?

Once you’ve wired the tree up better and the wires have some holding power I would personally bend the branches down more to bring them lower and closer to the trunk and try to create more pads. That’s just my personal thought I’d it was my tree though.?

It is too heavy at the top for Literati, needs thinning a lot.
