Hello! I got this tree recently and I would like to style it. Do you have any tips? Thanks in advance!

You have been here long enough to know that styling is done at least a year after purshasing.
I dont see any other option than informal upright, just not now.

When I take a tree to our club meetings and ask for advice I get different advice from each person, always ending in, "but it's your tree."
Go to a bonsai show and look at pictures of existing trees, and ask yourself can my tree wind up looking like that? How? Do I want it to look like that?
This will take a long time and you probably won't start cutting or bending until next year.
But, it's your tree.
