These are some new additions to my retirement collection. I have about 7 years before I retire...going to grow these out so they will be ready to put in a bonsai pot when I retire :)

Phoenix AZ. We use them in our landscape here. This is my neighbors....if I could find a way to not leave a trail to my house it may become mine.... :evil:

Yes...Chinese Elm....they grow here as well..I am going to do a forest bonsai with them...They came from my school courtyard...we have about 6 trees ranging from 15-20 years in age...they spread seed like crazy....we pick starts like these as weeds in our school garden.

So do not put them in a dormancy stage? Since your in a hot area?
I've read somethings about how Chinese elms are sub tropical and require a dormant period but other things saying they don't.. lol
