It's been a while since I've shared anything so here's a $15 spruce I bought last weekend. I think it has some nice potential. Anyone with experience with this type of tree ?

I haven't fooled with them in a long while, but that's nothing to do with spruce. They do make good bonsai.
If memory serves right, you pinch/prune the new growth back to 5-6 needles, and it will produce a new flush of buds. I remember the callouses becoming knobby.
Better info out there than mine:

I haven't made the time to research just yet. I thought I would share the tree and get opinions first. Maybe the tree would spark others to go find some hidden jewels and post the progress.
I will of course.
