This very reputable site calls this specific plant exactly nothing.
The owner, just a forum visitor, calls it a J. Virginiana (Juniperus Virginiana Hetzii to be precise).
But yeah, there are lots of junipers and varieties. I understand you cannot see the difference.
The trade? They call Ficus Ginseng bonsai so that does not mean a thing.

Hm... It is wired, I am using a big bending iron and I have done some heavy pruning. I think it is not very presentable at the moment. But... I willmtry and do some updates. Bit of an issue as due to circumstances I have not been at home much this year and not been able to make decent photos.
Apart from that, I am very sure you have trees that outcompete mine.

As for my trees vss yours? Maybe. but I do not have many good junipers. But I got one over summer that has girth & character like yours. Also.. pre-bending stage. Some 5-8cm thick branches that need to be moved around.
