I checked my old notebook, this ficus was only 10" tall when I first got it as a pre-bonsai in 1997. It has since grown twice the height and is now 30" from left to right. Time, patience and care are necessary steps for bonsai, and they become more graceful every year. They grow lovely each year like our children.
