Lots of die back then.Lucky me, there was plenty left to work with.
Hope it will do better,now i know they don't like fish emulsion on there leafs :whistle: .
It will never be a top tree,but i like to see how it will look like in the future.
First work was in april, pic 2
repotting in autumn.

Well done indeed. Seems you know pretty well where you're going to with this tree.
One small comment: The main direction of the tree is to the right, the top is pointing to the left. I think it should move to the right like the rest of the tree.

i didn't noticed that until now, don't you think it will look unbalanced if the top is leaning to the right.
i cheated a bid with the top branch on the right,it comes from behind.
I have to fix that when the top is spreading out with new growth.

When i bought the plant i felt a decent base of the trunk, for that price. I could not see it, so it revealed itself.

Yes - but I don't mean the complete top, just the upper part. Don't worry about it though, the tree looks good.
