Hello,

This Yamadori Pistachio from Spain came into my garden since 2011.
The last 3 years i only observed the tree and let it grow, to find out how this species grows best in our Belgium climate.

So after 3 years the branches and foliage was gronw out to much(unfortunatly i don't have a before picture of 2014 in it's wild haircut)
It was time to cut it back and shape the tree.
2 unnecessary branches have been cut, they were to big and didn't fit in the design.

In the spring of this year, I repotted it in it's new pot a collectors-item of the passed away Andreas Van Kerckhove.
It suits the movement and colours of the tree.

Isn't that the one that is on the same photo as the Juniper? I was hoping for a full picture. I have a Larch I want to shape in a similar way - not the same, but with a sharp bend like this one; I want to bring the top down and get it closer to the trunk.

Your photo proves that that is not a bad idea, the result can be beautiful.
I like the pot very much (or actually: the combination of pot and tree).

Please continue to post inspiring pictures!
