Hi, so I've been interested in the art of bonsai for a long time now. Finally got my own apartment and dream to have a nice vertical bonsai garden on the balcony one day. Conifers are kind of close to heart to me, it's the most dominant trees in the nature here. Got these two, bonsai in training, from a road construction site nearby. The pine I've had for couple of weeks now and the spruce for a but 3 months, best guess I'll keep them on the balcony and won't start to do anything with these until next spring-summer. Hopefully they have potential to become bonsai trees one day.

Please, keep us updated. We Just love to hear how every one else makes a seedling into a work of art...

Hi Aniir,
Welcome to 名媛直播 Empire. Don't pay too much attention to the high level of rudeness on the forum. Most people are actually nice, and like to help.
Your pine has more potential than the fir. The fir I would have certainly left in the forest, as it is too young with too little interest. Also, have a read here: and here
Thx for the constructive contribution Samantha. Very eloquent.

Thanks for the kind words
I also see more potential in the pine....well they both would have been destroyed by the road works, and thankfully they are both alive, so I can plant it back to the nature when needed
