I first started to get interested in bonsai about 2 years ago and researched it as much as I could, always wanting to start but never feeling like i knew enough. One day i switched mentalities and decided I know a lot of information but really nothing about bonsai because i had not done anything. I went out to home depot and bought a juniper procumbens that i thought would make a nice bonsai. I then proceeded to "style" it. Looking back I can see why i styled it like i did but at the moment is is my least favorite tree that i have.
the current front. you can see that it has some inverse taper that likely will only get worse due to the current branch placement.
a side view shows it leans quite a lot backwards. it used to be wired up more but it has since relaxed

The back
A top view to see the awkward branching
I think that i may try to tighten up the branches so that they are closer to the trunk. Eventually, i am thinking, they will all become jins and the foliage will come from the small growth at the top of the first bend and a growth that is lover down and on the left.
Mostly, i am uncertain as to what i will do with this tree. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
I just repotted this tree about a month and a half ago as the old mix i had it in was terrible and did not drain very well at all. As such, i'm hesitant to do much wiring on it right now until it is more stable in its pot. The main trunk feels very stiff and i am hesitant to try and bend it as i am rather inexperienced in bending things this thick (its about 1-1.5 cm thick) and short (overall height is about 15 cm.
For now i am thinking that i may allow it to grow unaltered for the year and next spring repot it at a different angle and do some wiring.
I attached a very crude virt of my initial thoughts. please feel free to criticize and comment:

Thanks, but the virt style was heavily influenced by another forum user (on this forum or maybe another).
Do you mean the branch on the lower left? Eventually I would like to jin all the current branches in favor of using the new growths on the trunks. The current branches are long and leggy and I hope that i can get better rammification and denser foliage by training these growths from the start. Its a long term plan but i plan on being around for a long while.

you need to determine how large you want this tree. at its current size branch placement is key then shortening and ramifying the branches would be your concern. otherwise put it in the ground and let it just grow.
as for the branch i was refering to the right 1ST and i negate my opinion i think i understand now ...thats the leader pulled back and around ... i like it

i would like this tree to be perhaps a little bigger than it is now. I dont have much space and i move around a lot so i dont have the luxury of being able to have larger trees yet.
