I think it has good balance and form.

Because of its thin nature I would get a pot that's thick and a dark color so it grounds the bonsai visually.

I'm currently working on a Pinus Gluaca and am waiting to see how it buds. Because of my Gluaca's small stature I'm going to get a lite brown color to help ground it.

Yes it is a thick pot, dark gray or unglazed regular brown pot, both by Bryan Albright and same shape.

Edit: I have found the pics of the brown one on my computer, it was pretty dark so it's not the best quality, but you'll get an idea.

It has been a while..

But here an update! Also this one has been repotted last saturday. I have chosen another pot. It's now in a Tom Benda (CZ) pot, very shallow and with a great texture reminding of rocks. It now looks like it's growing on a high mountain between the rocks. I want to add some little accents, such as a small grass to make it even more complete.

The roots were, due to the bad soil (not draining at all!) soil it was in, not very good. Many roots were rotten, but that can also be because of the styling and many cutting last year. How less above the ground, how less under the ground so roots that aren't needed anymore will die eventually.

Now here is the result!

I'm not an expert but I think it looks great in that pot.
