Hi everyone.
Today I'm officially calling my "pot layered" privet a success. The leaves are just now opening, but I expected it to be slow considering the small amount of roots it had when I separated it 3 months ago. I really wasn't sure it was going to survive. so after patiently waiting and watching I'm confident that it's out of the woods *deep sigh*
