howdy yall,
well after telling myself no more trees i went out and bought this juni from my local nursery. its been kinda bugging me that i lost my other one last year due to my impatient overzealousness.( i did way too much at once)this one isn't quite as nice as the last but it will grow.here it is before the chopping

heres the trunk amazingly its almost 2 inches across

after 3 days of looking at it moving braches and picturing the future(bonsai people have to be phsycic sometimes )i went back to pruning and wireing. i also put it in a larger diameter(not taller) pot so i could reposition the trunkline

and after 2 hours i think i am done. heres the spinaround

not the prettiest but it needs alot of top growth and some serious backbudding

Nice looking tree. I wouldn't worry too much about the look of the wiring, as long as it does it's job. My wiring is absolutely hidious compared to yours, but it gets the job done.
By the way I have the same fire pit as yours. :lol:
