When you say "the trunk" I'm guessing you mean the 2 swollen roots? The fatter 1 is as thick as my wrist so I'm not too sure how I would curve it, anyhow I'm happy with it so far -the gap between the 2 trunks/roots is getting smaller and eventually the 2 will fuse together.

It was given to me as a gift about 3 years ago, it was just a stump with many shoots coming off it. I chose a new leader shoot and just went with it. I'm still not %100 what I'm doing with it yet.

PS: Ficus are famous for their very thick air-roots. Many Ficus bonsai that are selled in nursery's etc. are sold in this kind of trees. They look maybe a bit weird, it's just what you like, in another way it's unique because no other tree looks like this trees
