Good luck with this material, you'll make something nice out of it, I just know

Bought them in a nursery, about $15 for both of them. These images were made after the first styling, in which I chopped of trunks that didn't fit the design and also about halved the height of the remaining trunks.
At this moment I leave the trees to recover and grow in the spring/summer. Next styling will be to create a main branch structure, including wiring to set the branches.
Ill keep you all posted! Any advice is welcome!

Hi Ascor,
Some nice trees. Howa re you faring with the styling? As for advice: No advice but some ideas; which you probably have yourself with these trees too..?
The first I would probably turn into a 'young and healthy' double trunc, where the canopy of the smaller trunc would pretty much be the lowest section of the biggest tree.
The second I could see as an very old multi-trunc tree, with a lot of deadwood, and only incidental branches on it. Basically mainly bleached wood, a few strips of red-brown living bark remaining leading to 2 or 3 living branches per 'trunc'. The main problem would be to get some more foliage closer to the trunc as it looks like it has lost foliage over the first few cm on the side-branches?
