Growing cuttings

Personally, I would be happy for the main tree to look like the individual ficus ginseng pictured and then maybe develop the cuttings into something like the 3 curved trunk ficus pictured.

I have just watched the video, would you agree to leave both cuttings and the main plant to grow for a year and then prune? I have attached the image again for your reference. Thank you for all your help

The pictured 3 curved trees are standard mass produced garden center trees. They are wired at an early stage. Let grow until right thickness is achieved. Then a big trunk shop, wait until regrown and healed, then away to selling. Quite an easy and fast process, but lacks taper and nebari.

Usually if I repot cuttings after a year they die. After two years they live.
I would let them grow for a year.
