i have been fusing two pear seeds together for about 3 months now.\
Its just about to hit summer where the major growth should kick in, its been a very mild spring so far still cold and wet.
I recently cut down and moved the zip ties a bit, i'm told it will take a few years to fuse properly.
If anyone can suggets if it looks right so fra as i've never tried and its all an experiment so far.

The ties are too high, they should be close to the soil. also there is no need for so many, one is enough. It will take at least three years to fuse. The tie must be as tight as you can get it.
