My window faces the west, so I have light every day after 1pm more or less.
Less light now in the winter, but very bright in the summer.
I would like a colorful bonsai like maybe Wisteria or Judas Tree?

No dont put moss on the soil. That is for exibition purpouse only and will proboably not survive long time indoors. Pretty much same as japanese black pine and maple.
I would recomend getting jade plants for indoor bonsai growing. Not concidered bonsai by everyone, but the only species used for bonsai that can truelly thrive indoors in northern Europe.
