Have your Zelkova serrata leaves come into leaf already?
If not do you know when they come out?
Thank you!

Hi nick,
Your question depends a lot on where you live. In europe, biological spring moves on average at a pace of 40-50 km per day north. So where in Spain spring is on its way in feb, it takes up to 3 months to reach the north of Sweden..
In my garden Zelkova is just about budding. Tiny little swellings indicating a presense of life. They do not show their buds too well over winter like e.g., acers do. So they can look dead for a long time. Patience
