That's nice, where are you from?
250u$ is a lot of money, but I don't know how much those trees worth where you live, shouldn't mind it if you're happy tho...
I'm from Brazil, we have quite a few here in my the neighborhood, you did a nice job, it really looks like a real size one.
We have a really big one that my grampa planted. I'm trying to get a sprout from it...

I am in Mexico! I think the fact that i'm white might have raised the price a little bit, but they are not common here.
Thanks! We will see how it grows!

Alblas: Jabuticaba is know for very poor rooting, with many saying it cannot be propagated from cuttings or airlayering. (This does not stop me, I took cuttings last summer, still green).
Get some fruit from that tree and sow the seed. They are supposed to grow VERY easily from seed.

For me is always cool to see a flat top like that, not a common style out there.
It's not the first Jabuticaba I see on this style, and somehow it seems to me that it matches the style, even being from a totally different environment when compaired with Acacias.
Take a look on this video! You'll like it.

in the tropical dry forest there are several species that have similar bark to jabuticaba and have broom style growth. Caesalpinia sclerocarpa for example has bark like a jabuticaba and in the wild they have a broom style canopy. I am actually trying to mimick some C. sclerocarpa trees i know in the wild in Mexico
