Here's my progression of a gardencenterplant which I bought for only 5 euro.. The first photo was in december 2016: how I bought the plant.

I suppose you are in the Netherlands? With that climate, when did you cut it back (second photo)? That December? or later when leaves started to bud out?

The last years this tree was doing well! This year it's the first time that he has a nice amount of flowers!
