Hello,
Very nice forum you have. I'm new to the forum. It's a very nice place. I'll start with this ilex schilling from my local nursery. It has a decent trunk diameter and nice early Nebari. I chopped it to a preliminary shape, and left it in a training pot to acclimate. I'll give it a couple seasons to develop where i want it to. Any advice or recommendations are welcome. Thanks.

I would not go for 4 pads. It looks more geometric than natural.

I would cut the top left branch, and the other left one cut to 1/2 of his current size. I would remove a lot of the upper right side, looking for 1 good branch with good movement. Next I would change the angle of the tree some more to the right. But wait at least for another year or more
