Greetings! Last week I acquired my first bonsai tree, a ficus retusa and am excited to see where this new adventure leads. My wife and I have been wanting to attempt to grow bonsai trees for years now and finally decided to jump in and start.
Over the weekend, I pruned and wired the tree and repotted it, now to watch. We also, decided to attempt to grow new trees from some of the clippings. Never done that before but figured there was nothing to lose. I plan to update every few months as the trees progress. Wish me luck and please, offer advice.
