Bougainville is a great species to work with. I really like them, but it is however a species that requires a lot of long branches to add any girth on the trunk. So -unless you want to gro this out in a large continer for a decade- aim for a very small tree.
The branches in the top could be given a little bit of extra curves to match the amount of movement in the lower half of the tree.

Nice little plant, but I would plant it in the ground for two or three years to thicken the trunk.
Then chop back (they are strong and backed easily) to make a nice chunky bonsai out of it.
