And based on a pic from supplier I made a virtual as what I want to do with it.
It seems it has enough foliage in the right places, so let?s see how close to it I can get.

As you might have seen a while ago I styled 3 itoigawas and they were all upright.
I want to do something different with this one
I know it would make a nice slanted or other style tree too, it has a nice curvy trunk so there are many options.
But semi cascade with such a nice movement of the trunk would please me the most as I do not have any like that yet

Cool. Concious choice to go semi cascade then. My question was truely rooted in the trap avoidence "A cascade is always an option"

if you tilt it to the right like you mentioned i personally think the bend on the trunk that moves to the right looks unpleasing, not to natural. with the way mimo wants to style it i think would be the best option as the bends flow alot more.FrankC wrote: I would change the angle to the opposite side and make a semi-cascade

I would agree... for what it's worth... to me the trunk goes into too many opposing directions if you tip it to the right.... for such a small plant that really doesn't work for me. beyond that... tilting it left seems to deal with the two branches coming out of nearly the sam place better.
