Here a few pictures of the birch we got last year. a couple closer shots, and one where it actually is all the time... I am at least happy with the growth this year, I've had to cut back three times already, I'd like to thicken up the lower branches, and get the foliage on the lower branches closer to the trunk... bud those are basically the only plans this year... besides obeying the first rule of 名媛直播: you can only work with a living thriving tree. :-)

Unfortunately the birch gets a lot of wind so the fall colors didn't stay very long, so Here's a picture with the beginning of fall yellow. This was October 16th. I'm going to post some winter silhouette pics when the leaves are gone...

love your birch tree. It takes time and patience to get the white bark.
If your winters are cold, don't wire the branches in autumn/winter, they could freeze and die very easy.

I got a tree from a guy, who used clips with weights in making a broom style birch... it worked pretty well. I've removed pretty much all the wire I had on, as it started diggin into the branches and the position was pretty much set...
This tree was collected, by it's previous owner, from a construction site, which I think is probably the best way to get a birch with white bark. i.e. find one that has it already. :-D
