My 2nd post. This Privet was taken out of next doors garden ( with consent).
I carved what was dead and shaped the rest.
Q: does it stay as it is or do I make " Clouds" / "Pads"
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No clouds.
Pads maybe, by pruning all leaves growing down.

I would keep it as it is ( I'm not a fan of pads/ clouds , too artificial) - great tree btw

needs some serious pruning to separate pads and get light into the middle otherwise quite nice.

Lovely flowing shape. Great character to this! My only criticism? Looks a bit dry, could do with a subtle soak. Nice work Clint!
