Update: January 31st. The brand that is coming back like a fishhook had 3-4 branches growing straight out the top so those had to go. I had to fix the deadwood since that ugly cut was so hard to look at. I would really love some suggestions on what type of pot this should go in and style changes you all would make.

Updated with better pics and repotted and some wire applied to get basic structure. Plan is to let the tree grow and do a prune and rewire at end of season. Please give me some needed feedback.

I think you did a nice job. Give the tree some time to recover before you start working on it again. Wire the small twigs to make the tree compact, remove what grow downward. If you place the top of the tree more above the base of the tree it will look more balanced. A good trainings pot, bud the next one most be much smaller. A quick sketch of my vision of the tree.
Cheers

Thank you. I do agree the crown needs to move over. The picture is not showing the "hook" that is wired and cleaned off to be a jin. I will update with closer pictures. This will definitely force the crown to move over to frame the feature. Thank you for the picture that is perfect and in a much smaller pot in 2-3 years she will be a beauty I hope.
