Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and I joined hoping to receive some good advice and feedback on bonsai, since I'm a true newbie on this topic!
I've been loving bonsai for a long time now, and today I decided to buy one. I chose a Ligustrum (privet), because I saw on this website that it is ok for beginners. I am also trying to grow a ficus from a cutting, so if everything goes well I will also have that one.
I attached some photos on my ligustrum bonsai. It's about 22 cm tall.
What should I do now? I read the information about how to care for this type of bonsai tree, but I'm not sure if I should repot it and when, and whether I should start to prune and wire it this spring or let it grow a bit more.
Any advice is very welcome!

Your post is practically identical to the ones that are posted here regularly, as are the questions, so I'm not going answer them - again.
Guidelines are here: www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/ligustrum
Just a question:
You have been loving bonsai for a long time. Have you actually ever seen one?

Sure, I've seen many of those. If you are saying this because mine is not a bonsai, I know that, I just wanted to post here the progressions starting from the very beginningAuk wrote: Just a question:

Your first lesson will be:Patience.
Do not start repotting/pruning/wiring/fertilizing or your next post will be the same one we see all the time on this forum: "help, my bonsai is dying"
First learn to take care for it. Water it properly, monitor its health, make sure it thrives before doing anything else. Then start considering the next step.
