But...
Leaves will have to be reduced, someday, somehow, right?

Look at the first photo 
Leaves are actually quite allright on these, mine are extra large due to me removing all the other buds that appeared all over the trunk.
Plus heavy watering and now fertilizing too.
It has only that branch allowed to grow, so it needs big leaves.
But once I get the ramification everything will be adjusted - watering and feeding too.

Thank you Since I got "bitten by the bug" my interest turned into real obsession. I already have over 50 potted trees and it seems there?s gonna be more.
