Hi everyone
I've been growing a Chinese Elm indoor bonsai for many years now however have recently purchased an outdoor large Maple bonsai.
Upon purchase I was told it had an attack of black spider mite and had been sprayed accordingly however I am concerned over the leaf tips on some leafs, which are black in colour.

I'd really appreciate any help/advice you can give please as I don't want this to spread and not sure how to move forwards in helping it.

Chinese Elm is not an indoor tree. I don't know what Black Spider mite is , I have heard of red spider, but I doubt it is that. Possibly Black Fly. The black tips to the eavs sound like a different problem. I would take it back and demand my money back and get a healthy tree. If you must keep it then a very dilute soapy spray might help. Washing up liquid one drop in the can. Make sure you spray UNDER the leaves.

Post a picture of the areas affected so we do not have to guess.
