Hello everyone. So, I've been wanting a bonsai tree for awhile now, and I found a tree at HEB. I'm not sure what kind of tree it is though. I've looked around online but I cant really match it to anything on bonsai sites. Any body have some insight?

This is a young juniper.
It is however, not a bonsai yet. it will require a number of years & application of the right techniques for that. Have a read around on the forum. There are loads of examples on bonsai vss young plants / non bonsai.

I agree, a juniper I have one slightly younger as I only planted the seed last year. Quite a way from being a bonsai, that's why I was taught to always have more trees as it reduces the temptation to start tinkering and fiddling with it.
