I have just joined you. Opposite my house and garden is a huge ash tree. I have lived here 30 years and about 20 years or so ago I got tired of digging up the forest of saplings invading the garden and thought I would have a go at miniaturizing them. Well now I have about a dozen small ash trees at various stages. At the moment they are all in flower pots or tubs. Unfortunately I do not really have the strength to keep taking them out of the pots and trimming the roots, but I do want to move on to the stage where I can plant them in the special pots I bought for them. I am so afraid of killing them off. I can take photos. I thought it might be rather nice to swap some of my ash trees for something else. I do have rooted plants of Scots Pine and other evergreens. I am in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
