Hello there,
I have this little tree for more than 1 year. This winter something happend to him and he started to dry out and destroy a big part of the crown/branches. I have managed somehow to save him by changing his soil with a mix of sand, fertilized soil and dead corals from highlands. Now it started again to get dry here and there and I dont know what I am doing wrong to him.
I spray him with water everyday and drown him once a week or 10 days. The temperature in the room is 20 degrees but I keep him close to the window( which sometimes i keep it opened. Can I get your advice about how to maintain him or what is the cause of drying out?
Also, im not sure what type of tree is it...
Thank you in advance!

What kind of tree is it? anything other than a cactus/succulant should be watered more than once a week.

Spraying is optional , you have to water when the soil becomes dry or nearly dry , also you could keep this tree outside it will prefer it to being stuck in a house

Well, take it out, don't drown it, don't spray it so much, water only when the soil feels dryish.
As you've just said, it looks very unhappy being inside.

Looks like a Ligustrum (Privet), but by the pictures with so few leaves I could be wrong.
Your tree is not a bonsai yet. It will take time to train it, IF it survives. :(

It says here that they survive temperatures as low as - 10 so you will be fine keeping outside all year round, , it's a deciduous tree it needs a winter to be healthy ;)

yes it does have holes in the plastic pot. I let the bonsai 2 days outdoors and the leafs are turning choppy...
should i buy a special bonsai pot so it can breathe better?
