Weird things growing on my tree

It is a Fukien tea bonsai! Thank you all! Really want to save it it still produces lots of flowers but is getting covered by these monsters!

The plant is not growing these things... they have infected it. These are woolly aphids.

Do you have a resource for that statement? Seems to me the aphids are not coming for the flowers.

I agree, they are not there to eat the flowers just attracted to scent. This is personal experience.

Did you have a plant with flowers, and the same plant without flowers, and did the one with flowers attract more?
