Try this and see if it works for you.... take all the dead or dying flowers off( stems and all).. the ones that have opened or going to open leave on. If the flowers are on a branch, tap it so you see the flower move. Do this 3-4 times every day as many times as you can. If they are self pollinating, you will see it close up and a white or red fruit getting bigger. If it just shrinks up and the stems turn brown... take them off.
If the first try did nothing, you may need to pollinate it yourself. Get a small brush and when new flowers start, take the brush and go over one flower then go and brush over another flower. You are basically doing what bees and bugs do.
But,if nothing it's ok. The flowers take too much energy can be used by the tree for better things. Hope this helps a little.

I don't think so. The advise concerns pollinating the flowers to get fruits. It will not make the flowers not die, nor will it produce more flowers. On the contrary.

This is the correct advise.
My advice on pollinating the flowers is a test to see how vigorous the flowers are
If flowers cost energy, fruit will even take more. Growing a tree indoors isn't ideal. I would not let the flowers on - and certainly not the fruit.

Yes, but we are talking about bonsai. Above that, it is not the most easy species, and it is kept indoors.
Our main concern must be its health and growth. That? why we remove the flowers.
