I have a juniper that just this spring has developed some sort of fungus. An internet search suggests it to be similar to a rust disease, but the growths started out brown and then went to a dull orange. From the attached pictures, can anyone help me identify what the disease is and recommend any solutions. Any help would be appreciated.

It is afungal infection. Typically you can consider the plant lost: This wil return year on year, and form disfigurements of the branches.
Normally people toss the plant in the rubbbish.

If possible, I would not toss it in the rubbish but burn it.
