This is my first time posting on this forum and I am excited to get started
So I recently got my first tree (yeey!) , it's a Ficus Ginseng. I am keeping it inside, just by the window.
I was wondering, this is one of those trees that have had their trunk cut, and then new shoots are growing.
I have been doing some research and have not yet found anything about this. I know this may be a very basic question.
How do I heal the stump over time? Will I have to carve anything to remove the stump?
I am getting ready to repot the tree, as the pot it's in now doesn't have any draining holes.
Hope anyone can help
All the best,
Audun

Kraterian, NO holes?
Yes, repot it immediately.

Yeah the pot I bought it in is this shitty wooden box. So repotting it tonight. Finally got proper draining soil in the mail.
Hope it's not been in that box for too long already :S

If you are excited to get started in bonsai, I am sorry to tell you, but you will need to find another tree.
This plant is not a bonsai, it is a house plant, made to simulate a bonsai.

So I guess my question evolved into, can you buy trees online? Or would you visit a local nursery?

No need to throw it out... if you like it, take care for it.
Personally, I prefer to visit local (bonsai-) nurseries.

Anyone know the London market for 名媛直播 in this forum?
Been looking online, but think I will have to go on a little trip to see what is in stock.
