Hi there everyone,
We got a Sageretia mid February and at first it started drying out a bit but we managed to revive it quite quickly by adjusting where we kept it and the watering.
It had plenty of new growth for about a month and then developed white mould at the base of the trunk and small part of the surrounding soil. We cleaned it up but then the leaves started completely drying out and falling off. The leaves have shriveled and keep on falling off. They all look completely dry and we have tried so many things but are not sure what to do now to revive the tree.
I have taken some pictures below, can anyone recommend what will get it back to full health?
Thanks so much in advance!

Hi. You provably overwatered and roots suffocated. I am afraid this tree is dead. Last chance is take it outside and dont water till soil gets dry. Sorry.

Looks like the watering was not done right. you need to ensure the soil is never soaking wet. But never dries out completely either. That balance is something to learn.
Can you put it outside in a spot with not much wind, and out of direct sunlight? The way it looks, with the right care, it can still recover.

Hey everyone, I just came across this thread as I'm facing a very similar challenge with my sageretia. Do you think that repotting it using a better draining soil might help?
