It is a ficus Benjamina variegata, it is not a bonsai tho .
This species is used for bonsai but it takes a long time to make one out of the young plant you have , it is a beautiful process but , there are many techniques to learn and a great filosophy behind the art .
However to keep your tree healthy look up the care guideline for ficus Benjamina and if you are interested in bonsai do your research ( starting from this site for example) and I'm pretty sure you'll be hooked straight away ;)

Agreed its just a young ficus would take years before you could even begin starting it on its path to bonsai.
But variegated leafed plants dont make good bonsai they grow slowly as they have less chlorophyll in the leaves so less energy is produced. I would j8st keep it as an ok looking house plant.

Good luck
