There is no such thing as an indoor/outdoor bonsai, but with the information you are giving us I would say:
Buy an aerosol with green spray paint.
You could also give is information that we can do something with. Also, you could post a photo.

Welcome to the forum, houseman.
To help you, people here need more info.
Which tree?
Which "green"?
Where are the trees located? If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, now is Fall, and many trees loose their leaves , it is normal.
If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, it's Spring, and your trees can be dead. That is not normal.
Could you please show us some good pictures of the problem?

Well, let's try to help here.
1-) This is not an "indoor/outdoor" bonsai. It's an outdoor tree (very young I must say). It should never be inside.
2-) Soil looks wrong for bonsai. Should be draining (coarse and not organic), and not wet.
3-) Stones on the soil don't help in anything, and they add more weight to be lifted.
4-) The tree looks pretty dead. I don't think there is anything you can do to resuscitate it now.
I sincerely hope I am wrong.

Your juniper is dead. Junipers must be outdoors at all times.
