I have no idea what's wrong. Pot shock, over watering, spider mites, wrong pot? I'm new to bonsai, picked up a bunch of pre bonsai junipers and elms at the local flower show and I've done hours upon hours of research on both (and more). Basically, the more i read, the more indecisive I became. Most of my trees are doing well. But this one is one of my favorites and it would be devastating to see it go so early. Ive cut back on thr watering and have gotten a better feel for each tree in its new soil. Can anybody tell by looking what may be going wrong?

What is wrong with it? I hope it is not kept inside, and the gravel is not good but otherwise a very young Juniper in need of some years growing preferably in the ground to get a trunk.

It looks like dying foliage. The way the foliage looks, I would say a problem wiith rots. Did you put it in this pot? Ro did you buy it in this pot?

I repotted a few weeks after I got it (April 15th). My other trees are a nice bright green and taking to their new pots well. But this is the only one I didn't use a bonsai style pot so I thought maybe it was retaining too much water? Not sure, what do you think?

I think you damaged the roots too much.
