Hello everyone,

I have just joined and this is my first post. I hope you can help.

I have long been interested in bonsai but I have only just purchased my first 2 from a nursery in Helsinki.

I am fairly confident that the tree in the images is a willow leaf fig but I am not 100%. If you would also be kind enough to give suggestions for development style I would appreciate it.

Possibly, but what did the seller say it is?

The only thing I could imagine doing it with it is take each individual plant out of the pot and train them all separately for a few years.
You could next make a decent forest, or train a couple as individual bonsai.

Hi Auk and thanks for your reply. The tree had a generic bonsai tag and the seller simply said it was Ficus.
