I was thinking about buying one from a nursery like from home depot, any advice on the idea good or bad would be helpful. Thank you
Yamadori si the way to go with Pine. Pines take an insane amount of time to grow. I don't think you are ready for Yamadori.
On a side note, Home Depot is not a nursery. But they do get shipments from nurseries around the U.S., so they sell nursery grown plants.

Travi51 wrote: Thank you all for your feed back. I know home depot is not a nursery but in Missouri we don't have a lot to choose from, I don't mind online shops but I would rather be able to pick out what it is that I'm buying. I have watched and learned a lot about pines and I am taking the courses offered on this site to better my nolage. This is something I am very interested in and love doing. I will continue to ask questions to make sure my trees do the best they can and agen thank you for your help and support.
You can get small/cheap material to work and learn with if you are very interested in pine.
