My boss got me this adorable bonsai plant as Christmas gift but now I think it might be dead:(

I left town for over a month and a friend was plant-sitting for me. She said she sprayed it consistently but it was too difficult to drench it as her sink faucet is too powerful. Need to know if the plant is alive, and if so what can i do to better care for it.

PS: I've never owned a bonsai and is known to kill plants. I also live in the desert (Las Vegas)

The plant on your picture is dead. You should not try to keep plants like juniper indoors.
