Thank you. The pot has one decent size drainage hole. I pulled the fake moss stuff off the top. I plan to move it to a little bit bigger pot to do some growing now that it has recovered some.

How much bigger of a pot can I safely move it to for some growing room? It has lots of fine roots showing through the drainage hole and across the entire top of the soil. It seems like a tough little tree to bounce back from looking dead on the Walmart shelf in potting soil with some sort of green fluff glued on it :) I would hate to kill it now! Also, I have all my regular plants in clay pots but this is my first bonsai type tree. Any advice on clay or plastic, pot shape ( i.e. deep vs wide)?

I'm not sure how much bigger you can go , I would wait on someone else's answer because I don't want to tell you something that's wrong ;)

I would not increase the pot size much. Remember, most of the plant is gone.. If you repot, go up one size.
