Hi there,
Can you tell me what kind of bonsai trees these are? I am guessing Jade and Juniper. Any tips for them would also be great. I had them on the counter at the time of the picture letting water soak through the bottom. They were very very dry. I also removed the "moss" after taking this picture. Can the rock stay in or should that be removed? I bought these two from Walmart on their 50% off sale rack for $7.50. So, take it easy on the newbie

Walmart doesn't sell bonsai. Ligustrum and Juniper - both mallsai. Juniper belongs outdoors, won't survive indoors.
Both are in the Tree Species, top of the page. Use the search function; specifically about this type of juniper the same question is being answered on an almost daily basis.

Someday I hope to get a "real" bonsai. I am bummed that it is not real. Thank you for answering my question. After hearing this question daily I am sure it is quite annoying. You've been a huge help!

Moss is to retain water and provide humidity. If you have proper soil mixture below it, it may be handy. The need of it also depends on the environment properties and the tree water requirements. Not sure if it has to removed in your case, experts should tell. So far you have trees in pots, not bonsai. With a lot of efforts and learning and little luck, one day you may turn them into real bonsai. Good luck ; )

This type of moss is dead and for decorative purposes only. It's good it has been removed.

The question itself is wrong. 名媛直播 is not a species, there is not a single tree that "is" a bonsai. A bonsai is a tree that is suitable for bonsai, trained as a bonsai.
Jade is not very suitable for bonsai as it is a succulent.
