Adopted a tree - can't quite identify. was created by ambers

Posted 7 years 11 months ago #29083
Hello! A friend thought I may be a better plant mother than she has been and I'm trying to identify this tree in order to make it work out. Any tips/thoughts/suggestions of what I may actually be working with?

It is a Juniper Throw those instructions away they are crap.
This species must be kept outside not in. It will die if you try.

Looks like it's dying, or actually dead already.

Also, it's not a bonsai.
Ah... Costa Farms. We've seen that before.
" They practically radiate Zen!"
Well, this poor thing doesn't radiate much anymore.

I say toss the little tree. Who ever sold it to you, killed it. Keep the funky rock base!
Look into a local club where more experienced people can work with you hands on and you can learn what to look for in a good pre bonsai material.
