Green Mound Juniper starting to brown was created by Madinkins0219

I recently purchased a Green Mound Juniper, it is supposedly around 2-3 years of age. My main concern is that I might be over-watering it. I know coniferous trees do not require as much watering as deciduous or tropical trees do. Although I can't figure out if I am doing something wrong with it. I didn't water it for a few days here recently and that's when it started to brown, but thing is the soil around it has been moist due to the environment I live in, but it has also been cold out lately and it does not receive much sunlight. I would hate to see my first serious 名媛直播 tree that has a good amount of potential go to waste because I am not as knowledgeable as I need to be, and YouTube only offers so much information. Can someone please inform me on how they treat their Green Mound Juniper to keep it healthy and thriving.

Thanks, Zachary.

A 2-3 yo juniper is not a serious bonsai.

Considering I spent a good amount of money for the tree, that is why I would consider it something serious, to me. No I was not referring to my tree being a 75 year old prize winning serious tree, thanks

For right now it is. I live in South Alabama. And the weather here is 80 degrees one day and 35 the next. And it's very humid, and I do not receive a lot of sunlight even outside around my house. So the conditions to grow are not outstanding.

No5thing wrong with the conditions, but you need to learn how to grow a Juniper, Watering is crucial, check every day and water when almost dry. You must keep it outside, and if there is some sun fine, if not that will have to be.

No doubt the price was serious. If it's 2-3 yo, it's just not a bonsai and it probably `was a seriously overpriced stick in a pot, that we see here on a daily basis.

Can't give you any other feedback without a picture.
